Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Chan Rotterdam. These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and participation in our tea ceremony workshops, both public and private. By booking a workshop through our website or attending an event, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Bookings & Payment

All workshop bookings must be made in advance through our website or via direct communication.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
Prices are listed in euros and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your booking up to 7 days before the workshop date for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days prior are non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for no-shows or failure to attend without notice.

3. Rescheduling

Participants may reschedule their booking up to 72 hours before the workshop, subject to availability.
Rescheduling requests must be made via email: chanrotterdam@gmail.com.

4. Workshop Cancellations by Chan

Chan reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum number of participants is not met.
In such cases, you will be notified at least 5 days in advance and offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5. Arrival & Participation

Participants are expected to arrive on time for the scheduled start of the workshop.
Late arrivals are welcome to join quietly; however, the session will begin as planned.
Each workshop lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.

6. Age Policy

Workshops are open to individuals 12 years and older.
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

7. Accessibility

The venue is wheelchair accessible, and chairs are provided for all participants.
If you require additional accommodations, please email us prior to your visit.

8. Health, Allergens & Hygiene

Some teas or snacks served may contain allergens such as nuts, dairy, or gluten.
Please communicate any allergies during checkout in the Message/Allergens box, or by email before the workshop.
Each participant receives their own tea cups to ensure a hygienic experience.

9. Photography & Privacy

Photography is permitted during workshops. Please be respectful of others.
If you do not wish to appear in photos, inform the host or other participants at the beginning of the session.

10. Private Events

Custom or private workshops are available upon request.

11. Gift Vouchers

If offered, gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for a specified period (typically 1 year unless otherwise noted).
Vouchers must be redeemed within their validity period.

12. Changes to Terms

Chan Rotterdam reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Any changes will be published on this page and apply to future bookings.
